Meet Danny Power
Honing a natural rapport and ever-present tenacious spirit, Danny – an avid world traveler and Southern California native – offers clientele a savvy market approach backed by over a decade of industry expertise. He has an uncanny ability to make business both personal and fun for his clientele.
Having represented the sale of more than $70 million during his three year tenure at The Guiltinan Group, Danny has consistently doubled his annual volume. Also a licensed realtor in New York City, he is very much driven by an unequivocal desire to excel, along with a natural ‘thirst for life.’
Q: What truly makes North County real estate a good investment?
Danny: The North County Coastal communities have always been a solid investment due to its limited availability of homes for sale; not to mention the ideal climate and affluent demographics. In North County we enjoy great dining, shopping, award winning schools and many secluded beaches and championship golf courses; there are activities for the entire family. At current prices and interest rates, our affordability is the best it has been in a great many years.
Q: What first attracted you to real estate?
Jeff: I was first attracted to real estate as an investor back in 1984 and started buying single family homes. The hobby turned into a career and soon I was purchasing land, commercial properties and foreclosures. I really enjoy finding a value and improving on it. It is something that has always made sense to me. The fact that there is only so much of it –and as something tangible you touch and affect makes it just that more attractive to me.
Q: How does your approach differ from others?
Jeff: My approach is vastly different than many of my peers. I utilize my expertise to strategize each listing and offer, properly positioning my listings to best achieve the price and terms desired. I seldom take no for an answer and love the art of negotiation. I have a highly efficient and talented group of support but am personally involved in all of my client’s transactions. Many at my level use their status to acquire the client and then quickly pass them off to someone else on their team.
Danny: I love helping people obtain their goals and dreams and real estate is a great vehicle to do so.
Q: In your opinion, what is the status of the market in San Diego County?
Jeff: The Status of our local market though still faced with challenges and pressure from distressed inventory is poised perfectly to rebound. With interest rates at historic lows which we may never see again, several of my most savvy investor clients have recently increased their buying interest.
Q: What are your general thoughts about real estate investing?
Danny: I firmly believe that owning real estate is one of the most secure investments one can make. Though timing may be beneficial, having experienced and knowledgeable representation is of the utmost importance.
