North Coast Repertory Theatre opens their 36th season with Neil Simon's hilarious classic Last of the Red Hot Lovers on Wednesday, September 6th. Directed by Christopher Williams, this comedic production is running through Sunday, October 1st.

In Last of the Red Hot Lovers, Barney Cashman (middle-aged, overworked, and with no experience in covert maneuvers) is bored with his bland life. Anxious to join the secual revolution before it's too late, his bungled attempts at seduction will leave audiences howling with later.

Season 36's Last of the Red Hot Lovers follows last year's Neil Simon hit Laughter on the 23rd Floor, which was a smash sell-out. Want to see this red-hot production? Order your tickets early!

Neil Simon is a playwright who began his career by writing television. He established himself as the leading writing of comedy by creating a succession of Broadway hits, including The Odd Couple and Sweet Charity. The cast for this production includes Phil Johnson, Katie Karel, Noelle Marion, and Sandy Campbell.

Later in the season, North Coast Repertory Theatre will be showing Of Mice and Men (October 18th–November 12th), Around the World in 80 Days (January 10th–February 4th), This Random World (February 21st–March 18th), How the Other Half Loves (April 11th–May 6th), The Father (May 30th–June 24th), and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (July 11th–August 12th).

North Coast Repertory Theatre has been under the artistic leadership of David Ellenstein since 2003. Throughout its history, North Coast Rep has created a platform where artist and audience thrive through the intimacy of live theatre, recognizing the power of theatre to challenge complacency, revitalize the imagination, nurture the unexpected, and embrace the variety and diversity in our lives.

Previews begin on Wednesday, September 6th, with opening night on Saturday, September 9th. In addition, there will be a special talkback on Friday, September 15th, with the cast and artistic director. Tickets for the production range from $42–$53, with discounts for seniors, students, military personel, and educators available. Visit North Coast Repertory Theatre to purchase tickets.
