Best Technology of 2019

Eight of the Best Gift Giving Ideas

The gift-giving season seems to be upon us once more and what better gift to give, than the gift of technology? Here are eight of my personal favorites that I'm sure any technology lover would appreciate. All of these range in price from $50-$1000.

  1. iPhone 11/Samsung Galaxy 10 (Average price ranging from $400-$900)

Both of these phones were released this year and whether you're an Apple lover or a Samsung lover, I believe that each choice is as good. The iPhone is sporting dual cameras on the back to optimize photography, while the Samsung Galaxy has three cameras. Both of these phones have a longer-lasting charge which makes travel and work more convenient.

 Best Technology of 2019

  1. Mophie Battery Case (Average price $80-$100)

One of the cooler items in my opinion is the Mophie battery phone case. In case you run out of battery, the phone case can work to charge your phone for you instead of waiting for an outlet. These phone cases could come in handy for when you get stuck at the airport or when you lose power in your home.

  1. Fitbit Bracelet (Average price range $80-$200)

By now I'm sure you all have heard about Fitbit bracelets and their bluetooth capabilities. The bracelet will connect via bluetooth to your phone and track your exercise throughout the day. They keep track of your steps and tell you how many miles you walk in a day, which I think it is pretty neat. Fitbit also has bracelets that work like a smartwatch, including the Fitbit Versa 2, which has Amazon Alexa already preprogrammed into the watch.

Best Technology of 2019

  1. Top vision Mini Projector (Average price $100)

The mini projector is easily portable and is compatible with smartphones, Amazon Fire and USB. It comes in a sleek white color and can be projected up to 176 inches. Top vision also has worked out a cooling system that has fans that produce diminished noise so that there is only a soft hum that you can hear if you watch something without sound.

  1. Airpods (Average price range $159-$249)

Apple users can benefit from Airpods. The wireless earbuds use Bluetooth to connect to your iPhone, perfect for the gym, running, or just not getting tangled up in the wires. Airpods also has a speaker so you can answer calls without taking them out of your ears. You can either go with the basic Airpods or the Airpods Pro, which are customizable to the wearer and sweat/water-resistant.

  1. Sprocket (Average price range $130-$200)

The Sprocket is a cute little portable printer that you can use via Bluetooth through your phone and print your photos. The Sprocket is about the size of a smartphone and prints 2x3 inch prints. 1. Amazon Alexa (Average price range $50-$300)

Alexa is an entertainment system that works as a speaker, a communication device, it can help with organization, and it can give news and information. Alexa can is able to play any music that you want her too and she can answer almost any question for you.

  1. Dyson Airwrap (Average price $550)

The new Dyson Airwrap is a new hair styling tool that has many detachable heads. It includes the hairdryer portion, two types of curlers, two types of straighteners and a volumizing brush. The new dryer is pretty cool because the brushes dry your hair while you brush your hair, thus allowing you to get the perfect straight hair.
