Delicious Holiday Sugar Cookies

We have simple and delicious recipes for gluten-free sugar cookies that will make every day feel like a winter treat!

2 3/4 cups Deanna’s Gluten Free Pastry Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup unsalted butter, softened 
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375°F. In a small bowl, stir together Deanna’s Gluten Free Pastry Flour, baking soda,and baking powder. 

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until smooth. Divide dough in half and wrap each half in plastic; refrigerate for at least 2 hours. 

Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and sprinkle flour over dough and rolling pin. Roll dough to 1/4” thick; use cookie cutters of your choice, and place the shapes 1.5” apart. Bake 8–10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
