If your really want to explore the wide range of food that Oceanside has to offer, try Carla and Linda’s Walking Food Tour. This walking tour includes four or five tastings of both food and drinks with two professional tour guides. Taste a wide range of bites and sips while hearing the history of the restaurants and region. They recommend that you be at least 16 years old and if you are 21 years or older, bring your id as most places will be serving alcohol and will request identification for alcoholic purchases. The tour does not exceed a mile in total traveling distances, making it an easy walk. Stops will be made at their favorite restaurants for tastings of specially chosen items. Tours are about three hours and you may purchase tickets in advance.

For those beer lovers, head over to Stone Brewing Company. Located one block from the Oceanside Pier, they have a high standard when it comes to beer. Many of their creations are intended to be consumed fresh and each bottle is stamped with an "Enjoy By" date, making sure that only their tastiest beer is available.
