Day 4 Saved

Before getting started, we want to explain how we saved you the whole day on cleaning. Instead of four, you will manage all tasks in three days.

Furniture cleaning is overwhelming. But what if you can avoid it using only one thing. Here come slipcovers you can try.

Slipcovers protect the furniture from dirt, dust, and pets. They are stretchable and easy to use. It takes only 2 minutes to put them on the couch or armchair.

Slipcovers will hide your furniture imperfections and make it look new—no need to spend the entire day with gloves and cleaner. Instead, give your furniture a fresh look!

Day 1

Start with the most difficult, the one you would want to postpone again and again. Yes, it's the bathroom.

Bathroom

Unlike deep spring cleaning, tidying up before Easter is much easier. It is more about doing many little things, rather pleasant than overwhelming.

As the bathroom is the first room guests visit after coming, we prepared a list of tasks. To be most productive and manage to do a lot in a day, start early.

Use glass cleaner to shine up the mirror. No one wants to see toothpaste splatter while fixing the hair.

Clean the shower door to eliminate unpleasant soap scum buildup.

Stock up clean hand towels for guests.

Put sanitizer, tissues, and disinfectant wipes for a quick pit stop.

Spend only 30 minutes of your morning completing these tasks to help your guests feel comfortable. Then, when they don't have to ask you for towels, sanitizer, and tissues every time they go to the bathroom. A well-equipped bathroom can be a real ice breaker!

Have more time? Use it for decluttering!

Nothing wastes more time than moving clothes, purses, and piles of "important" things when guests arrive. At the moment, you can discover that you have no place for their jackets and start rushing about. Guests can feel redundant because you don't even have a place for their outwear.

To avoid this situation:

  1. Think about everything in advance.

  2. Decide on where to put guests' clothes, shoes, and purses.

  3. Declutter the wardrobe, hangers, and furniture where you keep these things.

As for cleaning, avoiding moving things from room to room will save you a lot of time. If you have little helpers, challenge your children to some game. Cleaning can be fun!

Day 2

Let's proceed to the most sacred room in the house, the kitchen. Place where you will make Easter dinner for the whole family. Preparation of a three-course meal requires a lot of space, so your task is to clean it.

Kitchen

You've already written down the menu and prepared a detailed grocery list. To help you out, we made a list too. It consists of handy cleaning tips.

Easter holidays cooking can cause a lot of mess. Ensure you have clean and usable aprons, dish towels, and potholders.

To get rid of stains on countertops, use a spray cleaner.

Have a roasted turkey in mind? If your stovetop is grimy, wipe it down. So after cooking, it will take you only a few minutes to clean.

To avoid cross-contamination of expired and fresh foods, clean out the fridge. First, remove leftovers and products whose time is up. Then, wash inside the fridge and leave a plate with baking soda to absorb the odors.

Your guests may have a sensitive stomach, so another helpful tip for you: follow the rules of placing meals in the fridge. For example, don't place milk products near meat and uncooked animal products near cooked ones.

Dining room

In the same place, all guests gather together and make memories. For sure, your hospitality will charm everyone. As to the coziness of the dining room, we are here to help you.

Put slipcovers on the chairs. They will make them look new and freshen up the dining room interior. In addition, they will protect your chairs from dirt and dust.

Wipe down all kitchen appliances. Looking at fingerprints doesn't make food tastier.

Place table linens for every guest. No one wants to get their clothes dirty.

Congrats on making it through the second day! You are already there.

Day 3

Only two rooms left. You may think you will spend the whole day tidying them up, but it's not spring cleaning. Just follow our plan and get everything done in no time!

Living room

Everything must look spotless for the upcoming family revision. The living room, in its turn, will be in the spotlight.

Vacuum floors and carpets so your allergic guests won't be sneezing from the dust.

Speaking about allergies, fabric slipcovers are hypoallergenic and eco-friendly. So don't hesitate to put it on your sofa. It will protect your guests and save time on furniture cleaning. Slipcovers are easily washable.

Dry and wet dust the surfaces. For wood, use a damp microfiber cloth.

Bedroom

If your guests are staying overnight, you should think about their comfort. The time when you remain alone in the bedroom is for reflecting on the day's events. Make the impression of Easter dinner even better with small pleasant things.

Sort all magazines and newspapers. Discard old ones and leave interesting ones on the table for your guests to read at nighttime.

Put fresh pillows and sheets on the bed.

Make sure you have water and clean towels within guests' reach.

Anyways, everyone will be more focused on talks and food. Remember that you are a great host and managed to do Easter holidays cleaning only in 3 days. Happy Easter 2022!
