Lamb Sliders Recipe

Brides and grooms–to–be all over the world are often overwhelmed with the traditions of matrimony and its endless list of must–dos and events. One of the most important pre–wedding events is the wedding shower. It’s an event of first impressions: your guests, your family and your new in–laws will remember this as the first taste of your wedding and marriage to come. While you’re stressing about what to wear (something flattering and and a little sexy to impress the love of your life, yet sweet and respectful under the microscopic view of your future mother–in–law), the details of food and décor may take the backseat. Décor is simple enough; just deck your space with standard flowers, napkins and fine white linen. But what on earth will you serve? Does anyone have an allergy? Who’s on the latest fad diet? What’s the hippest dish?

Our solution? A little bit of everything. Lamb sliders are a delicious and fun alternative to burgers for meat lovers. For the ladies, tiny cucumber and avocado sandwiches are elegant and easy. As for drinks, switch up the regular mimosa and serve lavender bellinis or classic dirty martinis. As they say, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Let’s hope that’s the way to your in–laws’ hearts too.
