ABOUT THE CARLSBAD FORUM ART, RHYTHM & WINE:

The 2016 Carlsbad Forum Art, Rhythm & Wine community event will take place at the Carlsbad Forum for its 2nd annual community event on Saturday, October 22nd. This one-day juried art show and fundraiser event is expecting to draw in some of the most affluent people in the country. The Art, Rhythm & Wine is open to the public, featuring the works of over 50 established artists from San Diego. The Art Rhythm & Wine features something for everyone, including a silent auction, rhythm and blues bands, a gourmet marketplace and 12 premier wineries from San Diego’s top vineyards. 

Artist Awards: Our jury will judge the participating artists for awards of:

1st Place – $500

2nd Place – $250

3rd Place - $100

Artist Load In: 10am to 2pm - Saturday, October 22, 2016

Artist Load out: 8pm to 10pm - Saturday, October 22, 2016

We are now accepting applications for The Carlsbad Forum Art, Rhythm & Wine on October 22, 2016. To be considered for the 2016  The Carlsbad Forum Art Rhythm & Wine follow below instructions:

Step 1: Pay Application Fee (The application fee is $35.00-non-refundable).

Step 2: Submit Artwork (You will automatically be re-directed to this page after paying the application fee above)

Step 3: If selected to participate in the art show, you will be notified and directed to purchase an Art Vendor Booth (see price options below)

BOOTH INFORMATION:

Booths are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. All efforts will be made to accommodate artist requests; however, there is no guarantee of placement. We seek to avoid having artists of the same medium next to each other, so we have divided up the event map by categories.

Booth space purchase DOES NOT INCLUDE A TENT OR BACK DROP. You may rent, tents, back drops, tables and chairs for an additional cost. All Exhibitors must bring a WHITE 10' x 10' Tent. Please NO OTHER COLORS WILL BE ACCEPTED.  

Booth space pricing:

10' x 10': $175 Single Space

10' x 20': $350 Double Space

Artist booth space may not play music or distribute or sell alcohol, food or beverages. FINE is contracting food and beverage vendors and these vendors have exclusive rights to sell food and beverages. Artists are prohibited from distributing or displaying literature of or promoting any religious, fraternal, foundation, political or commercial organization. Only literature and information pertaining to the artist’s work or the art organization exhibiting is permitted.

SELLER'S PERMIT AND TAXES:

Exhibitors are responsible for establishing their own merchant accounts for collecting payment. Artists must have a current and valid California State Board of Equalization Permit to participate in the Art show. Artists are solely responsible for collecting monies for works sold and for payment of taxes to any city, county, state or federal agency. Artists must have their permit onsite during the event. 

All artists are required by the State of California to file a Sales & Use Tax Return. If you do not have a current sellers permit, you can register for one here: http://www.boe.ca.gov/info/reg.htm

The event is held in the city of Carlsbad. For the Seller's Permit, put the address 1923 Calle Barcelona, Carlsbad CA 92009 (do not mail a copy to this address).
