Trendy Tuesday: The Royal Treatment

Ever since the marriage of Kate Middleton and Prince William (no less the deliverance of an heir to the throne!) the craze with all things royal has gone through the roof!

From Alexander McQueen’s ecclesiastical-royal collection to Sophia Webster’s cutesy crown-topped peep-toes, royal accents ruled the fall runways in both chic and cheeky ways that bring a little fantasy to realty.

"Every girl wants to feel like a princess," says Webster. "I mean, you’d look a bit crazy walking down the street with a tiara on your head, but it seems to work on your toes."

Even pop star Katy Perry is in a royal state of mind. Her Killer Queen perfume is all about reigning supreme – presented in a faceted bottle that mimics the top of a scepter.

What do you think of this trend? Royal failure or royally fabulous?
