Piero's Italian Cuisine Launches Inspiring New Chapter in Las Vegas

There are restaurants that nourish you, and then there are restaurants that mark an era. In Las Vegas, there are few restaurants that bear the burden of history and sophistication like Piero's Italian Cuisine. Since its opening in 1982, this off-Strip institution has operated in the background as the backdrop for some of the most storied moments in Vegas dining and power-brokering. And now, as it sets off on a new chapter under the ownership of Stephen Siegel and Amazing Brands, the essence of Piero's is poised to flourish with renewed energy while being faithful to its heritage.

The legendary history of a Vegas landmark

When Freddie Glusman opened Piero's more than 40 years ago, he did not just open a restaurant. He opened a space where Las Vegas deal-makers could drink, dine and negotiate in privacy behind the red velvet drapes of private alcoves. The site, within a few steps of the Las Vegas Convention Center, provided room for business leaders, politicians, and celebrities to arrive and depart without Strip pandemonium.

And slip in they did.

Frank Sinatra dominated his regular table. Jerry Lewis was heard laughing over linguine. U.S. Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton ate in the same space where parts of Martin Scorsese's Casino were shot. Michael Jordan dropped by. Even infamous names of Vegas underworld lore left their imprint. To eat at Piero's was to be seated at a nexus of power, celebrity, and taste.

A fresh page on the same beat

In June 2025, Glusman transferred the reins to old friend and Las Vegas visionary Stephen Siegel, Amazing Brands founder. For those familiar with Siegel, the transition is a natural evolution and a warm preservation.

"Now that I've known Steve as a businessman, friend, and advisor for so long, there was never any doubt in my mind he was the guy to lead the charge with," Glusman stated. "My shoes and personality aren't easy to fill but if anyone can do it, it's Steve."

While the baton of ownership has now been formally passed, Glusman is not disappearing. He will continue to have an equity interest in the restaurant and be an active participant. And in the Vegas spirit, old and new will peacefully coexist like the perfect Negroni.

The Stephen Siegel and Amazing Brands legacy

Siegel isn't new to giving old favorites new life. Through The Siegel Group, he's revitalized properties like the Artisan Hotel Boutique, Gold Spike Hotel and Casino and Rumor Boutique Hotel into favorites. With Amazing Brands, he's turned his attention to culinary icons. His company is responsible for the success of hometown staples like Pinkbox Doughnuts and Siegel's Bagelmania.

What brings all of his efforts together is one vision respect the past and build something intriguing for the future. With Piero's, that is on display.

"Piero's is not a restaurant it's part of the fabric of Las Vegas," Siegel said. "Freddie created something that stands the test of time and trends. I'm humbled he has put this legacy in my hands."

Rewriting a classic but not losing its essence

As any frequent Piero's customer will assure you, the draw isn't the food. It's the atmosphere. The dimly lit dining rooms. The white-jacketed waiters who call you by your name and your drink of choice. The softly whispered deals being made and secrets being exchanged. Amazing Brands is well aware of all this and plans to retain every last shred of it.

But with time comes change. Guests can look forward to thoughtful additions to elevate the dining experience to an even higher level. That means investment in decor, kitchen upgrades and staff training. More thrillingly, Amazing Brands will restore some of the classics that had quietly disappeared off the menu over the years.

It's about enhancing the guest experience without altering the character," Siegel said. "Piero's has always had a certain magic. Our task is to make the magic shine even brighter.".

What it implies for Las Vegas

In a town where reinvention is all that counts and restaurants come and go like a deck of cards, how long Piero's has lasted says it all. It didn't happen by chance it's a product of devotion, continuity and not a trend follower.

With the opening of Amazing Brands, Piero's is among a select but powerful cadre of Las Vegas institutions that are being actively preserved for the future. This is a victory not only for longtime locals but also for first-time visitors who long for the old Vegas glamour that once dominated the town.

For today's modern dining traveler and savvy gourmand, this sale is not simply a change of hands.

It is a guarantee. A guarantee that the history, the taste, the atmosphere, and the memories that have always characterized Piero's will continue to do so though with a few new chapters to be written. The future is new but known Whether for a reprise of your favorite veal parmigiana or a initial walk-in, Piero's under Amazing Brands awaits. It's not trying to be something it isn't. There won't be gimmicks, there won't be trendy makeovers. No, just good old-fashioned Italian hospitality, a dash of Vegas flash, and maybe a warm smile or two in that booth over there. Las Vegas might be a city that's always facing forward but at Piero's, the future is coming, built on a foundation of authenticity, heritage, and passion for what's been. And that's a tale worth lingering over.
