Some trips start with fanfare. Ours started with a security checkpoint. But don’t picture stiff uniforms and suspicious glares at Sycuan, even security feels like part of the welcome committee. As we drove up the ramp, we were greeted by a guard who checked our reservation with a warm smile, wished us luck at the tables, and sent us along feeling more like VIPs than suspects.

During our visit, a fantasy football league held their NFL draft in the most unforgettable way: with a rubber ducky race in the lazy river. Between bites of cheeseburger heaven and cheering for the home team, you’ll also find live music on weekends. We caught Groove Squad with Francoi and friends lighting up the stage, adding even more energy to the mix.
And if you like to mix sports betting with your beer, Rank & File is your place. Pool tables in the middle of the action made it a lively, social hangout.
Date Night at Bull and Bourbon
No staycation is complete without a little romance, and for us, Bull & Bourbon was the crown jewel of date night. The team worked like a well-oiled machine with multiple servers ensuring every detail was handled, every glass refilled, and every plate delivered with flair.
