Defending father’s rights and advocacy for men’s rights in family law issues has been a passionate crusade for Lisa Berg since deciding to become a family law attorney nearly 14 years ago. A diverse and wide–ranging professional background, a compassionate awareness of fathers’ situations and a tenacious litigation style make Lisa an experienced and effective advocate for her clients.

Following many years in a downtown law firm, Lisa recently opened her own boutique law firm in Solana Beach, bringing with her a reputation for the highest quality representation. Although she focuses on men’s and father’s rights issues in family law, Lisa Berg also represents clients with criminal, elder, estate and civil matters.

Lisa’s professional career started as a police officer and ranged from Deputy Public Defender to private practice before seizing the opportunity to realize her passion to level the playing field for fathers in family court matters.  

With over 17 years of experience, Attorney Berg has varied and complex litigation experience. She has conducted more than 200 criminal defense jury trials and more than 200 family law bench trials. Although a litigator at heart, Lisa has the innate ability to continually strike that rare balance between compassionate awareness of the client’s situation and tenacious representation. Ultimately, she is an advocate.  

When Lisa is not in business attire she can be found combing the beaches, shaping her tropical garden or doting over her grandchildren.
