On July 15, 2014, Partying for a Purpose Presented the 11th Annual Champagne & Purses Party at the University Club to benefit the It's All about the Kids Foundation. Hosted by Angela Brannon, Gwendolyn Sneed, Kristy Salazar, Dawn Hough Sebaugh, Maura Emerick, Christina Thomas, Dita Diaz, Theresa Dimapilis, and Hortencia Moore. Over 125 San Diego ladies enjoyed delicious appetizers from the University Club and desserts from Sprinkle Me Desserts and COS Charitable Organic Sweet! They also sipped on tastings from Henebery Whiskey, St. Petersburg Vodka and Magnifico Giornata! All ladies were asked to bring a new or gently used dress, shoes, jewelry or purse to be donated to high school girls for Prom.
The highlight of the evening was the Fashion show by OOH Fashionista Boutique with shoes from Filo & Clo. The MEDIA Sponsor was FINE magazine. Other sponsors included Blank Slate Creative Studio, V Group, Moments of Your Life Photography, JWT Photography, and Robert O'Neill Photography. The Romance TV series also filmed at the event that featured entertainment by El Watusi, DJ Jason Scott, DJ Scott Roberts with saxophonist Jason Whitmore and Mark DeMascole on drums. The event benefited It's All about the Kids Foundation and the 2014 Prom.
