History in the Making, the 45th Annual Dia del Sol

If you are not familiar with the Beach and Country Guild of Rancho Santa Fe, it is something worth taking a moment to reflect on. Thanks to the hard-working group of ladies, which consists entirely of volunteers, several events are planned per year to benefit United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego. Due to a unique clause in the by-laws of the Beach and Country Guild, 100% of the money raised at each event stays in San Diego County to support the programs and services provided by the two UCP centers in San Diego and Escondido pursuant to UCP's mission to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities. There's no better organization devoted to this cause in San Diego than the United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego.

Dia del Sol is the major event each Fall that the volunteering ladies produce with an amazing venue of either an estate in Rancho Santa Fe or a fabulous country club or resort. This year, the 45^th Annual Dia del Sol will be held at the Grand Del Mar. The luncheon will consist of wonderful items up for silent and live auction, a professional runway fashion show and guest speakers and models from UCP. Don't miss this exciting event for an important cause.
