The Many Advantages of Using Cannabis Oil

Cannabis oil provides many benefits for those who choose to use it. It has been found to help relieve acute pain like aches and cramps as well as de-amplify symptoms such as stress and anxiety. Cannabis oil is a resin that is separated from the plant, and it can be extracted in high yields for THC and CBD. Though hemp and cannabis come from the same species, they are actually used for two complete different reasons. Hemp and cannabis carry different cannabinoids. Where hemp is used to process the cannabinoid called cannabidiol (CBD), cannabis is used to process the cannabinoid that is called tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD concentrated oils are far, far more difficult to extract than THC oils. Hemp oil has a more complicated machine processing to produce CBD than THC, which can be extracted from cannabis using a solvent like alcohol. This is because THC comes from another cannabis plant and not hemp. Cannabis is often referenced to the THC plant but really, it’s an umbrella term for plants that have many different cannabinoids. Hemp is a much sturdier and stronger plant to get through than other cannabis plants. Cannabis oil can either be one of the two or contain both. In most cases, cannabis oil is either highly concentrated in one or the other exclusively.

People who use cannabis oil often use it for many different reasons due to the fact that cannabis oil provides plenty of benefits. Smoking cannabis oil that is high in THC eases stress, reduces pain, improves appetite and improves sleeping to even the most hyperactive people. The THC in cannabis oil also helps provide relief to the more complex and difficult health issues such as cancer. Hemp oils have been found to do the same as THC as well as act as an anti-inflammatory. One of the deciding factors that really differentiates between THC and CBD is the aspect of psychoactivity; THC does generate the occurrence of psychoactivity, whereas CBD does not, and actually diminishes the effect of THC.

There are immediate effects produced by THC. The notable changes will be in appetite, pain reduction, and sleepiness, but the degree of sleepiness depends of the kind of THC. The best part of using cannabis oil that has a high yield in THC is noticing the difference, due to the fact that CBD is much more subtle and less noticeable. The psychoactivity amplifies the change in feeling and behavior. While most people use THC for the psychoactivity, they continue to use it for the health benefits that come with it. Depending on the type of strain, THC can work in different ways. The Indica strain relaxes the user, making them content with heavy extremities and sensitive to sensory changes like taste and sound. Sativa strains are for the more active type that wants to move during their experience. Between the two, Sativa strains provide more psychoactivity than its sibling, Indica.

Unlike using THC, using hemp oil will not provide any noticeable immediate results to the average user. Hemp oil has been proven to ease the most difficult of ailments such as epilepsy, as well as provide tremendous relief to those who are going through chemotherapy. Topically, CBD has proven itself to be an effective moisturizer and a regenerative ointment for the skin. CBD heavy oils that lack THC have the advantage of being legal in all 50 states as long as they stay within FDA regulations, which means they cannot contain any THC.

Cannabis oil can be put in many different forms. From more composite things like capsules, edibles, and gum, to its own distinct form like tinctures, concentrates, and vaporizers, there is a way to consume cannabis oil for everyone. Mixing cannabis oil with food that is cooked or baked is another way to consume or experience these oils, and is becoming more and more popular as medical and recreational cannabis continues to be legalized across the states.
