Beauty was invented to encapsulate a women’s beauty, usually for the entertainment of men. Makeup hasn’t been seen as an art form until 1920's, with the introduction of makeup artists all over the world; now both men and women everywhere are putting their own spin on beauty, showing that no matter your background, race, or orientation makeup is for everyone. The diversity within the makeup community, and the communities inclusion, is what makes beauty so empowering. There are so many makeup artists from different backgrounds that is impossible to fit everyone in this article, so here are some of the biggest names.  

MALES

With Lucinda’s incredible eye artwork, it is almost a wonder how she hasn’t become more famous. Almost daily you can see the incredible and innovative artwork, all on her eyes, by this beautiful Malaysian and Zimbabwean makeup artist.

While Rubiya lives in the UK, her family is originally from Nepal. All the time she is mixing her cultures into her Instagram field, and many times you can see her lip-singing to Bollywood music. Rubiya isn’t only very inclusive of others, but she is also an incredible makeup artist. With Mexican roots, this latina beauty with an incredible fashion sense and beauty skills has become very famous on Instagram. Not only does she run her own Youtube account, but she also has her own blog, where she discusses travel, beauty, and fashion.
