Trendy Fall to Winter Hair Styles

Hairstyles for fall

Fall is here ladies! It’s time to bring out the plum lip and nails, the trench coats, and the dark color schemes! Every season has its special style sequence, which gives women and men the opportunity to bloom in the fall gloom. We all know what colors and clothes to wear during the windy season, but how do we wear our hair? Do we wear it up, down, up and down? Well, luckily for us we don’t have to question anymore. Here are a few in fall hairstyles that stylists are seeing an increase in popularity. We could have the best jackets, tops, bottoms, and even nail color, but the perfect do will make or break an ensemble, so let's see what Headlines’ San Diego stylists find to help you tie the perfect do with your perfect outfit.

According to Headlines The Salon’s Instagram, these are the go-to hairstyles for fall:

A nice dirty blond with dark roots accompanied by soft waves is a great way to change it up for the fall weather. This subtle blonde color with toning low lights will definitely set the mood for the perfect fall look if you are currently a blonde beauty and don’t want to darken up completely.

Cool Down With Cool Tones

But for all my dark-haired beauties, Headlines also put up a nice black and blue-ish teal shortcut. Which I believe is more versatile for women of color, since bold colors tend to complement darker skin tones. Colorful hairstyles have been really popular in the hair scene lately. Stars like Kylie Jenner, Nicki Minaj, and almost every Instagram model out there, have dyed or worn a teal color on their head at least once.

Sleek & Sophisticated

Simplicity is always the best route for a busybody. High buns and slick pony’s are always ideal when you want to get your hair out of the way and get work done in style.

Braids, Braids, Braids!

Since fall is one of the cooler seasons it’s always great for ladies with a passion for fashion and a love for locks to keep their hair in a protective style. The best way to achieve that is braids. Yes braids, some may think it childish, but braids are great for the windy and rainy weather because they hold their shape even in a storm. Fishtail braids are definitely a great option when you want to look good but keep your hair in place. Two braids are also a good choice because they are tighter and less likely to unravel. French braids are nice when you want to stop getting hair in your mouth and eyes. To spice it up you can use different colors of braiding hair; like slight blues, dirty blondes, and auburn to match the fall mood.

Fall is here ladies so don’t be shy, rock your dirty blonds, subtle blues, and classic braids. No matter what you choose, you will be fabulous! Just be sure to bundle up!
