The La Quinta Arts Foundation will be holding the 33rd Annual La Quinta Arts Festival from March 5-8, 2015 at the La Quinta Civic Center Campus in La Quinta, Calif. The event—ranked the #1 arts festival in the nation by Art Fair SourceBook—will host a number of special events, performances and activities to promote and cultivate local artists and their work.
This exciting four-day festival will take place in a beautiful park-like setting with various vendors, live entertainment, delicious food, beer, wine and beverages. There will be hundreds of original, hand-crafted works on display, with everything from photography samples, paintings, sketches and mixed-media designs to sculptures, ceramics, woodworks, jewelry and hand-made glass products.
La Quinta Arts Festival Art Displays and Vendors
The La Quinta Arts Festival has been going strong since 1982 on account of it’s talented artists, community partners, local volunteers, sponsors and donors, and its colorful outdoor setting—in the beautiful Coachella Valley between Indian Wells and Indio. Perfect for family outings, friendly gatherings and daytime dates, the La Quinta Arts Festival literally has something for everyone. And if the hundreds of original paintings, sculptures and custom crafts aren’t enough to excite you, the pleasant, high-energy crowd, delectable food and live performances certainly will be.
So gather your friends and family to experience this eye-opening desert tradition, or show up on your own. Either way, you’ll have a great time seeing the sights, meeting the local artists and admiring their works. You can also explore and enjoy Old Town La Quinta for a unique shopping and dining experience (it has a number of boutiques, specialty shops and great restaurants).
A Large Crowd at the La Quinta Arts Festival
Prices for admission are $15 for single day entry and $20 for a multi-day pass. The show begins at 10 a.m. on March 5 so arrive early to soak in a full day of art, fun and festivities. And if you’ve got nothing planned for the weekend and want to help support the cause, the La Quinta Arts Foundation is always happy to enlist new volunteers.
