It’s never too late to work on your bikini body, especially when you live in always sunny San Diego. Exercising is the perfect way to keep up with your health for both physical and mental reasons. Aire Urban Fitness in San Diego is great at not only whipping you into shape, but also adding a personal touch for your benefit.
Owned by trainer Jen VanderSanden, Aire Urban Fitness was opened to add a beneficial and unique downtown destination. The purpose of this fitness company is to provide highly advanced training, as well as equipment, for every client out there. VanderSanden began her journey in fitness with pilates after suffering from chronic back pain as teenager. Her interest in fitness programs only grew, and now those practices are used at Aire to customize programs for each client. Urban Aire Fitness caters to a wide range of clients from Olympic hopefuls to new moms hoping to shed baby weight.
Urban Aire is a private organization with limited-membership, which helps the company remain personable with their clients. Urban Aire treats their clients as family, which includes bringing them together outside of the gym for social events and volunteer opportunities. Once a month, Urban Aire hosts a workout free to friends and family of Urban Aire clients. These workouts have previously taken place at unique locations such as Balboa Park or the Convention Center.
Urban Aire is a fantastic gym if you get bored easily with working out. VanderSanden and other Urban Aire trainers are known for changing up their workouts to keep things different and exciting. They also offer team training, which is a customized approach to fitness. These classes, limited to 20 people, target building up strength and metabolism. Each session has a changing course of events, but the sessions still manage to create an effective workout for fat-loss, strength, and endurance.
Urban Aire, of course, specializes in pilates. Pilates helps to strengthen the core of your body, along with your pelvic floor. You will engage your abdominal muscles and shoulder girdle, while stretching and strengthening your entire body. The pilates program at Urban Aire is known as San Diego’s best pilates program. Urban Aire uses up-to-date, state-of-the-art Stott Pilates equipment. You can either sign up for duet pilates, or private sessions.
You can also enjoy small group training at Urban Aire! Before your session, get a complimentary training assessment to discuss health goals, recommendations for your personal benefit, and have a sample workout. Aire adds their unique touch to workouts by taking you beyond formulas and unstructured sessions. They actually work with their clients by customizing workouts from your assessment and working at a comfortable fitness level. Small group training contains no more than four people per session, and of course, you can always train one-on-one. All training sessions have a no-commitment option, perfect for the indecisive. The small group training packages all includes unlimited team training, so it’s definitely something to take advantage of if you're serious about reaching your fitness goals!
