Close to 275 supporters and friends enjoyed A Night in California, The New Children’s Museum’s first annual benefit in three years. The Museum was awash with moving brightly colored lights. Guests entered an iconic California VW van for a unique photo op before stepping onto the red carpet to enter Hollywood, complete with a lit Hollywood sign. As with all of their galas, the Museum encouraged guests to dress in what "California means to them"—there were men who looked like they stepped out of the Old West and women dressed in Old Hollywood glam. The event was emceed by KUSI's Brad Perry and the entertainment included pre-teen jazz band Pink Trio, acoustic vocalist Lee Coulter and headliner San Diego Party Band CHUGBOAT.
