Woof n Rose Winery & Vineyard is located in Ramona Valley, Southern California’s Ramona Valley American Viticultural Area. This small boutique winery is owned and operated by Steve and Marilyn Kahle, who together produce red wines from the estate grown grapes. The first vineyard of Merlot was planted in 1995, followed by Cabernet Franc, Grenache Noir, Petit Verdot, Alicante Bouschet, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Montepulciano.
While production is small guests will find red wines for every palate—from a light, summertime red blend called "Puppy Love", to the full bodied "Estate Cabernet Franc" or "Neuf Anges", a dessert wine that is so delicious words will not suffice. Woof’n Rose is also home to many dogs and rose bushes, which inspired the vineyard and winery name. Woof’n Rose is open most weekends, or Steve and Marilyn are available during the week by appointment.
