Why You Need To Know The Next Big Thing in Men's Fashion

LeGrand Leseur

Designer LeGrand Leseur, who has been said by Vicky Tiel, who worked closely with Elizabeth Taylor for years, is to be "the next big thing in men’s fashion." Now a winner of multiple awards in Philadelphia and with a fashion week under his belt, LeGrand Leseur is on a path to etch his name on the wall of fashion greatness.

LeGrand Leseur started designing men’s fashion–wear in 2013. Located in Philadelphia, he is known for focusing on unique and eccentric styles for the new age of the modern gentleman. Leseur has won multiple awards for his edgy yet sophisticated designs from PHL 17 and Philly Happening Magazine. He has reinvented the "classic" suit and sport–coat genre with a modern touch of elegance and luxury. His designs are timeless and sophisticated, all while pushing past the monotony of today’s tired looks. As a designer, LeGrand Leseur is always looking to create the next best thing. This has led him to maintaining a distinctive look, which completely separates him from all other fashion houses and designers.

LeGrand Leseur's clients include men who are tired of the normal one–colored suit, in search of something idiosyncratic. In order to get his name out there, Leseur took it upon himself to market his brand personally. His strategy was simple and efficient: find the most flamboyant man at an event. Remarkably, this worked, and he was able to link up with Brian Hunt of Ethimo Foto. Hunt has taken every image of his suits since.

LeGrand Leseur has a slightly different perspective on men’s clothing than the typical designer. While most pieces of clothing are made in mass production, Leseur’s approach is distinctive. Every piece he constructs is exclusively made for a client, meaning that no two suits or sport–coats are alike. The brand takes great pride in claiming this, as other brands make generic looks that stick to a basic, cookie-cutter design formula. Leseur gets to know his clients on a personal level, learning about their current style, career goals and favorite colors, all so that he can bring out the best looks for the individual. Various people in the fashion industry have noticed Leseur’s commitment to progressive fashion. Impressing the President of Atlantic City Fashion Week, Leseur was invited to show off one of his collections during their February show in 2015.

LeGrand Leseur wants his clients to stand out and be seen while wearing his suits. This clothing is not for timid individuals, but rather the man who wants to show off his extravagance, power and position. The years of the modest gentleman have come and gone, while the bold are commended. With a demand for women’s wear, LeGrand Leseur has been working to appeal to a wider audience with the launch of his unisex eyewear line. The line has already gained attention from music pioneers such as Philly Freeway and Phantogram’s lead singer, Sarah Barthel, who recently wore pieces to The Root’s Picnic music festival in Philadelphia.
