Evening of Illusions

The Old Globe celebrated in style with an Evening of Illusions at the 2017 Globe Gala, on the evening of September 23rd in support of the theatre’s artistic and arts engagement programs. The glamorous annual event featured an exclusive, one-night-only cabaret performance by Jane Krakowski, the Tony Award-winning star of the Broadway musicals She Loves Me and Nine and the hit television series 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Ally McBeal, with musical director Michael "Koz" Kosarin and her four-piece band. Reception and dinner was catered by the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, and dancing to the music of the Cowling Band on Copley Plaza until 12:00 midnight. They had over 400 attendees and over $500,000 was raised.
