This Halloween season, make sure you get your share of frightful fun here in San Diego. We’ve compiled a short list of the top haunted experiences that San Diego has to offer, including realistic horror experiences, creepy club crawls, and a heart-pounding music festival. 

Haunted House

McKamey Manor in San Diego

Touted as the most interactive horror experiences you can legally participate in, McKamey Manor in San Diego is an "Extreme Home Haunt," and Russ McKamey is the brains behind it all. 

Two guests at a time will live out a horror movie as if they are the main characters. After signing a waiver and proving your identification, you essentially surrender yourself to the show. But this is unlike any haunted house you’ve ever been in. The tour lasts up to 4 hours, and the Manor expects its guests to be in "excellent health" before attending. 

So how expensive do you think a personalized haunted trip through San Diego’s spookiest manor will cost you? Just 4 cans or 1 bag of dog food, which the manor donates to Operation Greyhound. Make sure you reserve your spot fast! Only two groups per day are allowed inside.

Halloween Events & Parties

San Diego Zombie Crawl 2018

If you want to go to the Gaslamp District this Halloween, you need to get tickets to this year’s San Diego Zombie Crawl. Tickets range in price from $25 to $125, with your tickets you get free access to 25 Gaslamp venues, the SDZC Opening Party, extended happy hours, free "welcome shots," drink specials, a map with "escape routes," discounted hotel rates, an UBER discount and more. Plus, you can get a discount when you add Monster Bash tickets to your Zombie Crawl. 

This is San Diego’s most exciting multi-venue Halloween club-crawl. Enjoy all the fun as Gaslamp fills with ghouls, monsters, superheroes and all sorts of costumed partiers. The Opening Party and will-call for tickets kick off at 6 PM at Trailer Park After Dark 628 Fifth Ave, Between E & F st., San Diego, CA 92101.

15th Annual Dos XX Monster Bash Block Party 2018

San Diego’s largest Halloween Block Party is on October 28, 2018. The Monster Bash is a notoriously fun outdoor Halloween festival that takes up eight city blocks from the Gaslamp Quarter to East Village.

Five main stages will be transformed to extreme Halloween genres to ensure that everyone’s scare-button will get pushed. The night will be filled with music as the stages will host a combined 20 DJs from San Diego and beyond. 

Plus, you can participate in the Monster Bash Costume Contest for your chance to win a $5,000 cash prize.

General admission prices go up the closer it gets to Halloween, so make sure you order yours soon.
