Recognizing that art is best left to the senses of each to behold, our annual Art Issue features an array of artistic expressions. A simple brush stroke, an aperture closing around a panoramic scene—finding something beautiful through mediums that celebrate our capacity to create is revered by the human spirit and something FINE wishes to express with gratitude. FINE would like to recognize the artists, designers, delicate hands, creative minds and inspired individuals that create—to give life to feelings, ideas and emotions that too often escape us unexamined and without understanding. Thank you for giving us time to reflect.
In this issue we discover local talents shaping the San Diego art scene as well as internationally recognized artists "Making Waves" across the globe. Explore museums, attend artistic events and enjoy new shade as we drift slowly into fall.
To believe that life imitates that which we personally discover through art, love and passion is perhaps more important than understanding the origins of an artist’s inspiration—to have faith in beauty that shall not waiver in the face of adversity.
