We all take things for granted. Here is San Diego, it’s especially easy to take for granted the simple pleasure of being outside—feeling the sun on your face, the wind in your hair as you drive with the windows down. It’s a big beautiful world out there and San Diegans just so happen to live in a particularly beautiful corner of it. This is the time of year we most enjoy family and friends as the season calls for memorable traditions: outdoor entertaining, the beach, sunsets. A year passes by too quickly to ever forget the smells and sounds of summer so take a step back, and take it all in.
The art, photography and stories within this issue naturally evolved to both celebrate and appreciate the great outdoors. We learned to create more beautiful outdoor living spaces, where to dine al fresco and go explore sexy swimwear fashions. We also got nostalgic with country inspired fashions for this month’s fashion feature utilizing some of San Diego’s own local fashion boutiques and salons.
