Bongiorno’s New York Pizzeria in Solana Beach is a great stop on a lunch run. Try their buffalo chicken pizza on a New York-style thin crust. On a diet and looking for that perfect slice of heaven? Try Zia Gourmet Pizza in Normal Heights. Try any pizza by the slice on their healthy whole wheat crust. Add fresh fruit, veggies and herbs to create that healthy nutritious meal that won’t make you want to loosen the belt buckle. And if there is still room left, Zia is a great place to indulge in dessert. Their Banana Split is the perfect combination of chocolate, banana, light cream cheese and chocolate syrup.
One of the most popular pizza joints in San Diego is the Bronx Pizza restaurant in Hillcrest. Bronx Pizza is known for their awesome Bronx, New York theme with photos of famous athletes and boxers hanging on the walls.
