This gluten-free recipe with no refined sugars or flour is perfect for a healthy snack on the go. Stash a homemade bar in your cart for a pick-me-up on the golf course!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup raw coconut butter
1/4 cup almond butter
6 pitted medjool dates
2 Tbs dark unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup raw almonds
2 Tbs chia seeds
1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
Method:
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a food processor, mix until you have the consistency of a thick nut butter (if mixture is too dry, slowly add a small amount of water until you get your desired consistency).
- Add raw almonds and chia and pulse, leaving mixture a little chunky. Add in coconut and pulse quickly to mix. Use a flexible spatula or your hands to press mixture into a square dish.
- Refrigerate one hour then cut into bars. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freeze and save bars for later.
