San Diego Ballet Guild to Hold Holiday Shopping Extravaganza

Get ready shoppers, on November 9th and 10th the San Diego Ballet Guild will hold the 2013 Nutcracker Market.

In its inaugural year, this premium shopping event will feature more than 50 merchants, artists and crafters selling a variety of hand-made crafts, jewelry, original artwork, gourmet goodies, holiday decor and unique gift items. In addition, community performances and costumed characters from the San Diego Ballet’s Nutcracker will also be on site to celebrate the holidays during this shopping event.

Open to everyone, there will be lots of FREE parking and a $5 admission, which will go directly to help support the San Diego Ballet.

Taking place at NTC Liberty Station, San Diego’s flagship civic, arts and cultural district, with 28 acres of beautifully renovated Spanish Revival architecture, NTC at Liberty Station is home to multiple dance and theater companies, museums, galleries, boutiques and restaurants.

"The 2013 San Diego Ballet Guild’s Nutcracker Market is already creating a buzz within the Greater San Diego and regional cultural communities and we expect excellent attendance," said Cristina Schaffer, president of the San Diego Ballet Guild. "The San Diego Ballet Guild’s Nutcracker Market is sure become an annual holiday tradition in San Diego."
