Picture yourself stepping into a night of jazz melodies, the aroma of strong Creole spices and the glitter of every mask that conceals a tale to be told. San Diego will be transported this May by the essence of New Orleans as the NFL Alumni San Diego Chapter brings an unforgettable Mardi Gras Masquerade Party and you're invited to be a part of the magic.
Where Celebration Meets Purpose
On Friday, May 16, 2025, the Legacy Center's great halls will be filled with a colorful world of rhythm and philanthropy. At seven, cocktail-dressed patrons will enter a colorful celebration based on the legendary Mardi Gras of New Orleans.
But beneath the shiny masks and holiday rhythms, there is a greater mission. The celebration tonight is benefiting two great causes. Music Therapy for Veterans and the NFL Caring for Kids initiative both of which are committed to transforming lives with compassion and community.
Experience the Spirit of New Orleans

From the initial sip of a carefully crafted Sazerac to the final morsel of a spicy beignet, every detail of the night promises an unadulterated New Orleans flavor. Tables will be filled with full-flavored Creole dishes, while masterful mixologists present specialty cocktails that capture the essence of the South.
The air will vibrate to the beat of live music, encouraging guests to sway, spin and get lost in the ecstasy of the dance floor. Surprises will be revealed around the clock a whispered secret here, a surprise parade there creating an atmosphere where every second will be a discovery.
Unveil Generosity and Build Sustained Transformation
The highlight of the evening will be the opportunity to give back in meaningful ways. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting auction, a fund-a-need portion and other special giving moments designed to motivate children and veterans in need.
Proceeds will support Music Therapy for Veterans, a program that taps the therapeutic potential of music to soothe, bring together and empower America's veterans. At the same time, the NFL Caring for Kids program inspires hope, comfort and joy for the millions of children whose lives are forever transformed by its presence, creating a brighter, kinder future for all.
By coming with us, you are not just celebrating — you are assisting in changing lives.
