The two powerhouse designers joined forces long ago, when they created a lemonade stand as young tots. Their entrepreneurial spirits have buoyed them through the years, along with a shared love of design and fashion. Today, when their pieces hit the runway, people take notice. The For Love & Lemons lingerie line should be on the radar of any lover of lace, or embroidery wanting to looks sexy this Fall.

A promising new line of eyewear by the name of Krewe du Optic is pitching in the big leagues this year, and we should all pay attention! Recently a runner up winner of a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and a $150,000 prize, Krewe du Optic has a client base with some pretty notable names, including pop Queen, Beyoncé. The company was founded in 2013 by Stirling Barrett, an artist from New Orleans and cultural enthusiast. In the heart of each design, Barrett has incorporated a dash of his home town. With an artistic background, he has pieces inspired by architecture and Voodoo Queens with a little Southern flare.
