On October 24th, FINE Magazine and The Crosby at Rancho Santa Fe HOA hosted the Inaugural Art, Rhythm & Wine Fest, a yearly art show where some of the community’s best painters, sculptors, jewelry designers, photographers, mixed media and living artists come together to present their works of art. Guests enjoyed live music, dancing, gourmet food tastings, wine and beer tastings and a live rhythm & blues band. A portion of the proceeds went to The Country Friends charity.
The Art, Rhythm and Wine event in Cielo Village kicked off at 3pm with an Art Walk that featured the work of over 25 different artists. Musician Billy Fedak played the guitar during the Art Walk to provide a calm and relaxed atmosphere as guests traveled from booth to booth. The Art Walk displayed multiple different types of art, including sculptures, photographers, painters, jewelers and even designers.

Many of these artists competed in a juried art competition in Cielo Village. The winner of the juried art competition was Danielle Nelisse; Anita Lewis came in second and Ana Phelps came in third. The guests at the Art, Rhythm and Wine event also chose a "People’s Choice Award" winner: Gina Palmerin. A complete list of the artists whom participated in the Art, Rhythm and Wine event is available at the bottom of the page.
Many of the artists also donated pieces for a silent auction, in which the proceeds went to FIMRC. The silent auction began at 5pm, when the ticketed event began. Guests wore their finest cocktail attire and strutted down our carpet into the courtyard of Cielo Village. The cobblestone yard was lit with strands of lights flowing from a center lamppost out to the surrounding buildings. The courtyard was decorated in crisp, fall colors: burnt orange, yellow, and off-white. Playing throughout the first half of the ticketed event was Soul Ablaze, an upbeat band fronted by Verdell Smith.

Closing out the event was the band Daring Greatly, a rock band that performed from 7pm-9pm. The band performed some crowd favorite classic rock songs, enticing the guests of the Art, Rhythm and Wine event out onto the smooth wooden dance floor.
