So it’s that time of year again, when the Easter Bunny springs into action and chocolate bunnies can be found in most grocery stores. With the springtime holiday fast approaching, you may feel pressure to create the perfect Easter holiday weekend for your loved ones or your family. Don't fret! Kroc Church Presents Easter Eggstravaganza
Easter egg hunts are so predictable nowadays, but what if there were actually 17,000+ hidden eggs ready for your children to find? At the 12th annual Easter Eggstravaganza hosted by the Kroc Church, that’s exactly what you and your family can look forward to. On Saturday, March 26th from 10am–1pm at the facility’s recreational field, there will be a massive hunt open for children ages 4-11 to share in the fun of searching for Easter eggs. Other activities available will include bounce houses, games, music, etc.
For egg hunters 3 years and under, a toddler zone will be provided to ensure that babies can participate in the festivities as well. The Kroc Church, part of the Kroc Center, is affiliated with the Salvation Army, and the outreach programs reflect the mirrored values and mission to serve the community. This particular outreach has been going on for 12 years and continues to provide a fun Easter holiday event for families. This is a free event open to the community to share in family fun in a safe and welcoming environment.
Pancake Breakfast & Spring Egg Hunt
On this holiday weekend you may be feeling a little rundown and lacking the motivation to cook. Luckily, the Pancake Breakfast & Spring Egg Hunt hosted by the Fallbrook county’s parks and recreation department are serving up breakfast and fun for all ages.
On Saturday, March 26th from 7:30am–11am, you can bring the whole family down for a pancake breakfast served by the Fallbrook Firefighter’s Association. An egg hunt will also be available for children’s entertainment.
The egg hunt begins at 10am and is open to children of all ages. Eggs hunts are broken up by an assigned age group. Games and prizes will also be incorporated into the event. In fact, there will even be a bunny character ready to meet and take pictures with your family! Breakfast will cost $4 for children 12 & under and $5 for adults. Additionally, the egg hunt is a free event for ages 2-12. You should really hop on this opportunity for fun and family this Easter!
Carlsbad Flower Fields

Looking for a religious way to spend the Easter holiday may seem like an easy task since most churches or religious centers create multiple services to accommodate the influx of churchgoers. However, attempting to decipher which service is best for you and your loved ones can be a daunting decision. Your quest to find the perfect church service may be simplified if you consider going outside to the blooming Carlsbad Flower Fields for their sunrise service. The Fields Church will be hosting for the 12th year in a row at the fields on March 27th.
An early worship service followed by an Easter message will take place in the fields amidst the beauty of the flowers. And where better to celebrate the spring holiday than surrounded by gorgeous blooming flowers at sunrise? The service will start promptly at 6:30am, and guests are encouraged to dress warmly and be ready to sing and partake in service. After the service, the congregation will be treated to a free breakfast.
Easter Champagne Brunch Cruises

To continue the streak of untraditional Easter holiday events, this next occasion might be reminiscent of your childhood play. Celebrating Easter in a tasteful way, the Westgate Hotel will be hosting a tea party! Traditional European Afternoon Tea will be served along with dainty pastries and tea favorites that even the kids will enjoy. This classic practice may be enjoyable for adults as well as children, introducing them to something they might not have ever done before, let alone with the Easter Bunny in tow!
You can take advantage of the Westgate’s Easter holiday activities on two dates: Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th. Festivities will begin at 2:30pm and conclude around 5pm each day, jam-packed with amusement for the whole family.
For children, a fun Easter egg hunt will take place on the Riviera Terrace. Afterwards, a magician will give a performance to families. Later, the Easter Bunny will even make an appearance, ready to meet and greet with the children!
