Meet the two sisters who are rocking the fashion industry in San Diego, Sheree and Rochelle, owners of TRE Boutique. This sassy boutique is a local charm in the North Coastal communities of San Diego. What makes this boutique unique, is the handpicked designer apparel chosen by Sheree Vihon and Rochelle Johnson as well as their attentiveness to customers’ wants and needs.

TRE Boutique was initially founded over 35 years ago, by Bobbi Martini, their mother, under the name "The Rare Earth", hence the "TRE" in TRE Boutique. The Rare Earth attire was "very earthy and funky"- different than the trendy apparel carried by the boutique. Sheree and Rochelle have maintained the great qualities of a family run business, while simultaneously evolving the store to fit their personal styles and stay current with today’s trends.

Sheree and Rochelle hold high standards for every single piece of apparel sold. In order to maintain a good reputation, the sisters maintain close relationships with each designer, and listen to customers’ feedback. TRE Boutique strives to find items of the highest quality and the best prices for their customers. "I think we tend to buy what we feel our customers would look and feel great in. We look at all the incoming trends and styles and handpick the ones that we truly feel fit our style, and would work for the customers in our communities. We also try to find the best fit, quality, and price for each item." states Johnson.

Any item seen on TRE Boutique’s website is also available in-store for you to try before you buy. Sheree and Rochelle think it’s important for their customers to be completely satisfied throughout the TRE Boutique experience. The store holds fashion shows a few times a year, as well as trunk shows, which allow their customers to see the variety of apparel carried. "When we are doing a buy we might narrow down a collection from 100 pieces to 4 or 5. When we have a trunk show we let you see all 100 pieces and choose for yourself what you would like to buy," says Johnson. These shows also allow the owners to grow their customer base and strengthen relationships with loyal shoppers.
