Dear Readers,

With a busy spring season already underway, it is always a privilege to be invited to various events around town; from fashion shows to fundraisers, golf tournaments and wine tastings, there’s always something to do. And while I most enjoy meeting you, our readers, I also appreciate the opportunity to explore the various parts of San Diego. So as we enter the warmer months of the year, I implore you to seek out adventure in our own "backyard," and savor alfresco living in America’s FINEST City!

Over the next few months, expect to see new additions in our editorial line-up. In expanding our editorial content offering and direction, we hope you enjoy getting to know our contributing writers and photographers, rising lifestyle trends in fashion and technology, along with a few surprises here and there.

I’d like to personally thank Sandy Redman, Ramin Pourteymour, Denise Hug and Phyllis Parrish for joining our cover shoot for April. Shot on location at the Grand Del Mar in Rancho Santa Fe, the cover is a prelude to The Arc of San Diego’s upcoming "Jewels of San Diego" Gala on May 5. Returning with a  bold Moulin Rouge Cabaret experience for attendees, the much anticipated spring event will raise much-needed funds for the Arc’s annual programs.
