An iPhone back panel made of stone? A luminous Apple logo made from sapphire glass? Thanks to the amazing artistry and engineering from Feld & Volk, a customized mobile device with glitz and glamour is at your fingertips. Using materials such as titanium, gold, carbon fiber, sapphire glass, Louisiana alligator leather and Karelian birch wood, Feld & Volk does not cease to amaze. The company constructs exclusive designs for the back panel of your iPhone, Sony PlayStations and iPads. In fact, they’re the first company to create an iPhone 5s modification made of pure gold.
Founded in Russia, Feld & Volk created the first prototype of the radiated Apple logo when the first iPhone 2G was unveiled in 2007. Just one year later, the company began to collaborate with the famous Russian designer, Denis Simachev, and together, created the first prototype - the Sima Phone 3G Classic. This was the company’s first experience redesigning the iPhone. After launching the first test production, the luxury series of Sima Phone 3G was given to journalists and celebrities. It didn’t take long for the fashionable device to gain attention. Even Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief referred to the Sima Phone as the "accessory of the year."
What makes Feld & Volk stand out from other uniquely designed devices? "We use innovational and unique solutions, which are quite expensive both at the design and productions stages. We work with world-class brands and unlike our competitors, we use only original details. Feld & Volk devices have the highest quality in the market and they are produced with innovative technologies and expensive material," says Yosif Likhtenfeld, CEO of Feld and Volk.
The company manages its in-house engineering for accurate quality control. Engineers develop high tech solutions like electronic modules for glowing logos and constantly create new solutions in microelectronics for custom projects.
"Glowing logos on the rear panel and eye-catching designs have become the distinction of Feld & Volk," explains company representative, Olga Klueva.
Some consumers view Apple’s standardized designs as a bit dull or mundane. So, they often change wallpapers, add ring holders and purchase cases and covers. But, with Feld & Volk’s delicacy, personal devices can show your personality. Furthermore, corporations can place their company logo on electronic devices. Artists and engineers know that custom devices are an avenue for consumers to express their unique personalities. But expression does come with a hefty price! The price range for custom designed smartphones starts at $5500. For the PlayStations, the customization price starts from $2650, while iPad back panels start at $3500.
Feld & Volk currently has offices in the US, Europe, and Asia. Its international clientele includes businessmen, politicians, the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, and jet-set international celebrities including actress, Reese Witherspoon. The company delivers products to any country. It is not affiliated with Apple, Inc. nor is it a licensor of any vendor. Since its inception, Feld & Volk has designed and constructed more than 1,500 gadgets. Additionally, Feld & Volk has expanded its unique design market to include the Apple Watch collection and Rolex watch customization.
Its wood collection features marquetry technique where pieces of relict wood are integrated into an exquisite pattern. The silk-screen printing features a diverse use of color scheme while the perforated carbon with a glowing element gives the custom gadget a rather sophisticated look. Even the alligator skin is made of various colors.
"We truly believe our products are the best present not only for Apple fans but also for those who appreciate a perfect combination of engineering idea, highest quality of manufacturing and attention to details in one ideal device," adds Likhtenfeld. "In the nearest future we plan to continue working with precious metals and gems and present outstanding products based on these exclusive materials for the demanding customers."
