Nordstrom La Jolla at UTC Gala Kickoff Party

In view of the new Nordstrom store at UTC La Jolla, an opening gala kickoff party to celebrate the partnerships with Promises2Kids and Voices for Children took place at the home of David and Patsy Marino.

With the majestic expansion of Westfield UTC shopping mall in La Jolla––currently scheduled for inauguration on October 12th––the two-story Nordstrom store will grow to 144,000-square feet. The new building promises an innovative shopping experience for its customers.

The new store implements a modern design concept to its interiors while optimizing natural lighting. Nordstrom offers a restaurant with indoors and outdoors seating named Bazille’s Restaurant & Bar, which will serve classic bistro cuisine with a creative twist and a large selection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. 

Two days prior to the opening, on October 10th, Nordstrom will host an opening gala that guarantees to entertain with an evening party full of delicious food and deserts, signature cocktails, and a private shopping experience of this season’s latest items.

The $100 value ticket for the party is onsale now until September 26th. All ticket proceeds will be donated to organizations that help local foster children. The beneficiaries are Promises2Kids and Voices for Children. Both organizations work to create a better future for foster children.
