It was a great day for fun and fundraising at The 3rd Annual Golf Fore Autism Charity Golf Tournament. Be Involved * Act Now * Cure Autism (B.I.A.N.C.A.) raised $18,561 at The Country Club of Rancho Bernardo. B.I.A.N.C.A. is a

San Diego–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in July 2011 to provide funds for physical, psychological and occupational therapy for autistic children in need. Because B.I.A.N.C.A. is a 100% volunteer–run organization, every penny raised goes directly to helping low–income families in our community access critical services and much–needed support. In January 2017, the top three teams will go on to play in the exclusive invitation–only Randy Jones Championship Golf Tournament for a chance to win an all-expense- paid Pebble Beach Golf Escape and a $10,000 donation made to Be Involved * Act Now * Cure Autism (B.I.A.N.C.A.).

Although there were clouds in the sky and a breeze on the air, nothing could dampen the spirits of those attending the 8th Annual San Diego Police Officers Association Widows & Orphans Charity Fund Golf Tournament presented by Sycuan Band of Kumeyaay Indians. This sold out tournament raised money for the families of San Diego police officers who were killed or severely injured in the line of duty. The SDPOA Widows & Orphans Charity Fund is the only charity in San Diego that directly supports the sworn officers of the San Diego Police Department and their families in their greatest time of need. For the third consecutive year, this event was held at the world famous Torrey Pines South Course. This beautiful backdrop was the perfect venue to relax and support an important cause.
