San Diego's Toast Catering Puts Others to Shame

Toast Catering

Summertime is the best time for parties, weddings, or any other social event. When it comes to any party you're hosting, you want it to be the most talked about within your friend group. With great parties comes great food and services, so you'll want to hire an amazing catering company. Luckily, the highly rated Toast Catering offers some of the best event planning, equipment rentals, bar service, and wait staff in San Diego.

Owners Kim and Sam Behnam have both worked previously for hotels, restaurants, catering companies, and country clubs before starting their own company. In the past eight years, the main focus of Toast has been to be among the top caterers in San Diego. Their unique approach to catering has done just that. Not only are they the owners, but Kim Behnam is also the catering manager, while Sam Behnam is a chef.

Toast can do just about anything, from catering something as small as a dinner party or as larage as a corporate gala. Their other services include cocktail parties, buffet menu, plated menu, delivery/drop-off menu, Persian buffet, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and even cooking classes. You name it, Toast can most likely cater it.

Their approach to catering has been to always serve fresh, high-quality food at a reasonable price. They do their best to stay away from pre-cooked food, so their food is cooked at the site of your event and served immediately to guests. Their experience with pre-cooked food is that when it travels in insulated hot boxes, the food can get dry, soggy, or taste like a leftover meal. However, caterers that pre-cook their food can be less expensive than onsite caterers. Fortunately, Toast is within the same price range as these inexpensive caterers. Not only is their food highly rated, but they treat their staff well, and they serve at the highest of standards.

Toast cooks their food onsite, whether the venue provides cooking equipment or if they have to rent a stove or oven. They also can provide a full service bar, either hosted or cash. Even better, especially for parties with cakes or champagne, they do not charge fees for cake cutting or cork popping. However, if they run into the possibility that they cannot rent a stove or oven, Toast can create a menu where the food is brought in precooked without taking away from the quality of the food.

Toast also prides itself in being flexible. They work with a large number of vendors and venues here in San Diego that will try to help you stay within your budget. Toast only wants convenience for their clients, and they strive to be the best in all of San Diego county. This company understands your goals for high quality food, and the best service possible.

When Toast means they can provide full service, they mean it. They handle everything you could possibly need like dance floors, lighting, tents, drapes, etc. The recommended amount of servers Toast suggests is one for every 25 guests for a buffet, and one for every 20 guests for a plated service. Your final count for a booking is due at least a week before your event, in which you will receive a contract with the guaranteed final count.

Weddings are one of the most important events in life, and Toast knows you want everything to go smoothly. They work hard to make your wedding planning painless. Toast can be there for you from the first step of your wedding planning, which essentially means choosing a venue. Their experiences in wedding venues include from backyards, beaches, and hotels. For a day that's all about you and your spouse, what more could you want?

If you're shopping around for caterers, Toast also has scheduled tastings during the week. This fee is prepaid but fully refundable if you end up booking your event with Toast. The fee is $70, and is only available if your event is over $3500. They also provide a vegan and vegetarian menu.
