FINE Magazine is having some serious nostalgia in regards to Spring Xposure--our recent charity fashion show that went off without a hitch! Now, we are ecstatic to announce our next event: the 2nd annual Tequila Classic, perfect for any tequila connoisseur! This soiree is unlike your ordinary cocktail get-together. We will be atop the Del Mar Plaza Deck, celebrating the culture and cultivation of agave spirits!
Guests can savor tequila tastings, tequila–crafted cocktails, Mexican beer, wine, and food provided by local San Diego restaurants. We'll have appearances from a few favorites tequila companies, including Tequila Fortaleza and Cava Antigua Tequila. Also attending is Tequila La Jolla, which is crafted from 100% de Agave Azul in Jalisco, Mexico and matured in the Añejo Californio Tradición. Other tequila companies in attendance are Mezcal Marques, Dos Armadillos, Corazon Azul Spirits, LLC./Sin Riva, Pochteca Liqueres/ San Roman Tequila, Grand Leyenda Tequila, U4RIK, AbreOjos Spirits, and Alquimia Organic Tequila.
We have other alcoholic beverages available too! Novo Brazil is a brewery sure to make you feel as if you're dancing the night away at a Rios Carnival! Also available are Nectar Blends agave wine and Estrella Beer!
Returning from Spring Xposure will be Rotisserie Affair, OH Juice, and Hubert's Lemonade. These fan favorites serve with a smile and satisfy your appetite with every bite. FINE magazine's Del Mar Plaza neighbors, Il Fornaio and Pacifica, plan on bringing our classy guests some delicacies to impress your taste buds. Rounding out our food, we'll have jalapeño bites, courtesy of Deanna's Gluten Free Bakery and sweet treats from Jen's Cookies and More!
Along with food and spirits, the Del Mar Plaza will be lined with vendors with some familiar faces. Couture by the Sea, Rodan & Fields, Haim Ltd Salon, Loghmen Jeweler, Del Mar Arts Center, and Lorna Jane will all be available with exclusive offers.
We know what you're thinking: what about a mariachi band? Providing our festive tequila atmosphere with spice and flavor is none other than Mariachi Del Mar. This band has been featured on local television and at major tourist attractions such as Old Town. While savoring the flavors of Mexico, enjoy live entertainment under the stars! We started the Del Mar Tequila Classic because we love tequila (of course), and we think the world should too! Whether you drink it straight, on the rocks, or mixed in a cocktail, these spirits are some of the most unique on the planet, and we think they deserve a classic event to celebrate!
This wonderful event will benefit the Veterans Research Alliance.
