Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi: Your Guide to One of the Best Theme Parks in the UAE Capital

The Lands

Warner Bros. World comprises six “lands.” They are the following:

1. Warner Bros. Plaza

Found at the center of Warner Bros. World, the first land you will reach upon park entry, Warner Bros. Plaza gives off vintage Hollywood vibes. 

Enjoy the image of the sky on the ceiling, the movies projected on the walls, and dining options like The Starlight (dining with a view), Hollywood Trattoria (Italian food), Celebrity Scoop (sodas and sundaes), and Beverly Hills Boulangerie (coffee and pastries).

2. Bedrock

Bedrock means Stone Age fun. It’s Yabba-Dabba-Doo with The Flintstones and The Rubbles as you go on a river adventure. 

Fill your tummy at Mammoth Munchies (snacks and shakes) and Bronto Burgers and Ribs (generous servings of burgers and ribs), or shop for Bedrock souvenirs at Bedrock Boutique.

3. Dynamite Gulch

Dynamite Gulch is a desert-themed land, home to one of the best rides in the theme park, Fast and Furry-ous. This ride takes you along on Wile E. Coyote’s high-speed chase of Roadrunner. 

Younger kids will love The Jetsons Cosmic Orbiter, and everyone will enjoy bumping space pods at Marvin the Martian Crater Crashers. Yosemite Sam Rootin’ Tootin Gas has Americana-themed clothing and souvenirs.

4. Cartoon Junction

Cartoon Junction takes you on the ultimate nostalgia trip, especially if you grew up watching Tom, Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Tweety, Taz, and Daffy Duck. 

There are plenty of themed rides here, including Scooby-Doo Museum of Mysteries, Daffy Jet-Propelled Pogo Stick, and Tom and Jerry: Swiss Cheese Spin. Plenty of snack stops are also available for when you need some sustenance: ACME Commissary (quick-service diner), Huckleberry Hound Pies (pastries), Yogi Bear and Boo Boo Ice Cream (frozen delights), and Penelope Pitstop Cotton Candy (spun sugar candy).

5. Gotham City

If you’re a passionate Batman fan, you’ll love Gotham City. It’s where you can immerse yourself in Batman’s world, simulate riding in the Batmobile, challenge Scarecrow, take on The Riddler, and pit your wits against Joker. 

There are also plenty of shops here, including Park Row Pawn Shop for Gotham City souvenirs, Monarch Theatre Gifts for popcorn and candy, Cat’s Eye Jewelry for – er – jewelry, Harlequin Confections for candies and treats, and Cobblepot Formal Wear for gentlemen’s formal wear.

6. Metropolis

If you’re a fan of Superman and the Justice League, visit Metropolis. This is the land for virtual, multi-dimensional rides, such as Justice League: Warworld Attacks (immersive 5D ride), Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey (a 4D flying theater experience), and Superman 360: Battle for Metropolis (a 3D battle simulation).

As if the above were not enough inducement, a Harry Potter land is also coming to Warner Bros. World. It will recreate iconic locations in the hit book and movie’s wizarding world.

How to Get to Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi

You can get to Warner Bros. World by free bus or car. After booking your theme park tickets, you can get a ride on a free shuttle bus originating from Dubai, Abu Dhabi City, and other major attractions in Yas Island.

The shuttle buses from Dubai and Abu Dhabi to Yas Island typically pick up passengers from major hotels. Ask your hotel where you can catch the bus to Yas Island.

If you’re driving to Warner Bros. World, use a navigation app (e.g., Google Maps) to get there from wherever you are in the United Arab Emirates to Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

Where to Stay: Nearby Hotels

Stay at a nearby hotel for your convenience. This is also a great way to avoid the long queues, as you can arrive early and be there when the park gates open.

The WB Abu Dhabi Hotel is an excellent choice. This five-star hotel is directly across Warner Bros. World and quite close to the other theme parks in Yas Island. It’s also a Warner Bros.-themed hotel, so you can continue Warner Bros. character immersion after leaving the theme park.
