Held at the Hotel Del Coronado on October 22nd from 6–11pm is City Ballet of San Diego's annual fundraiser gala. The lively affair will feature a multi-course dinner, dancing, and a performance by City Ballet company dancers with music by The Mighty Untouchables. Chaired by Rita Steel, the fundraisder will use both a silent and live auction to assist City Ballet in raising proceeds. One of the live auction items that will be auctioned off by Pierre Charmasson include a European Viking River Cruise with roundtrip airfare for two on Delta Airlines. This is a great opportunity you shouldn't miss out on!
The Celebrity Honorary Chair for this event is Lesley Ann Warren. Warren is an actress and singer, Academy Award and Emmy nominee, and Golden Globe Award winner, but she began her career as a ballet dancer, training at the School of American Ballet.
She is known for her roles in Cinderella, The Happiest Millionaire, Victor Victoria, Clue, Burglar, Cop, Color of Night and Secretary. She has also starred in popular TV shows that include Mission: Impossible, Will & Grace, Desperate Housewives, and In Plain Sight.
Proceeds from the event support City Ballet’s educational and outreach programs benefiting over 10,000 children annually. Gold level tickets are available for $300 each (these include priority seating, a swag bag, and an invitation to the 2017 patron reception), while Silver level tickets are $175 each.
