What do Millennials want for the Holidays?

With the holiday season fast approaching, many of us want some good gift ideas just as fast. If you’re a Millennial, or you have one (or more) in your life, chances are they have pretty much "everything". That alone makes it hard for people to find a gift that Millennials won’t be returning, or just not that excited about. I personally want to see thier face light up as they see their gift.

So, we’ve put together some ideas you can’t go wrong with, so take a peek at our holiday stockings for Generation Y (Your Millennial). 

1. Good Ol’ Gift Card -Clothing, Cosmetics, Restaurants, Amazon, Netflix, etc. (Him and Her)

Yeah it's cheesy but year after year the popularity of gift cards is increasing and every respectable brand cares tons about getting their gift cards out for purchase. For the last ten years, gift cards have been the most requested gift, so the idea of giving one for the holidays makes things a lot easier for you. And Millennials make up 37% of gift card buyers. So really the only thing you have to think about is the brand the person likes, the store he or she likes to shop at, or the restaurant they would enjoy. It is not the most personal gift in the world, but it will surely make them smile thinking about what to get with that gift card of yours. But it's not my favorite.

2. Ski Equipment (Him or Her)

Winter is a great time to look for the newest ski boots, skis, or ski jackets for mountain and snow lovers. Ski gadgets are a great gift idea to surprise someone you’re really close with, like a brother, sister, boyfriend, or husband. Hopefully, they will think of you everytime they use your gift. I love being on their mind every time they go on the snow, so make sure you know their favorite color, sizes, or what they’re really missing from their ski equipment. This year because I didn't know their size I chose a Snowboard Bag. 

3. GoPro Hero 11 (Him and Her)

The perfect gift for your adventurists, the travelers, and maybe even the wannabes professional surfers and snowboarders. With great image stabilization built right in, this camera can capture their technique while practicing boarding on the waves, the snow, or the asphalt, catch clear and sharp action camera pics and videos, and it allows the videos recorded to be played back in slow motion. 4. Experiences like Hot Air Balloon Rides or Sky Diving -Indoor or Outdoor (Him and Her)

Millennials truly appreciate the experiences they’re collecting, so if you really want to surprise them, be the one to book the future experience they’ll never forget. Hot Air Balloon Ride is an amazing way to witness true beauty of California sunsets or sunrises, depending on the location, and the breathtaking nature from above. If your Millennial is more for the adrenaline boost then think no more, Sky Diving is the fun and exciting experience they are looking for. These type of gifts are automatically creating stories to share through words, pictures, and videos.

5. Watch/ Sports Watch (Him and Her)

According to Google, they are making a comeback. In my mind the only watch that is really worth getting is the Apple watch. If your millennialis on the go a multitasker, into fitness, cycling, running, or can't keep track of their phone, they will appreciate this Apple watch very much. This will have everyting they need at their finger tips or should I say wrist. 

6. Beauty Treatments (Her)

This can be a real treat for your millennial. They love manicure and pedicure packages, massages, or a facial are all great ways to scratch off one thing from someone’s to-do list. If you know they will probably want to do it anyway, then your idea of buying a gift certificate for any of those services would be very useful and practical. If you’re a mom, sister, or friend, clear your schedule so you can join her whenever she decides to go. This could be a great way to spend more time together after the holidays are over.

7. Organic Lipstick (Her)

Whether you're a believer or not millennials are the ambassadors of green and organic. So more and more cosmetic brands are embracing that fact and opting for organic products in their assortment. Bare Minerals, Gabriel Lipstick, and German brand Lavera are just some of the brands that offer natural, organic, gluten-free, and cruelty-free cosmetics. Lipstick with a lip gloss in the same color would be a great choice for any Millennial girl.
