Tres Amigos Launch Party

In the city of events, no event–hopping was needed on November 19th when three amazing businesses (Entrada, Digital Expressions by Becki and Kiele Danielle Presents) hosted their "Tres Amigos" launch party at the new Little Italy hot spot, Entrada. With more than 400 of San Diego’s finest and 100 regional media attendees, the gourmet taqueria and secret speakeasy was packed. Attendees enjoyed hosted 50 Bleu Vodka cocktails as they noshed on Entrada’s gourmet tacos. Digital Expressions by Becki, a lifestyle photography company, hosted a red carpet entrance, fashion presentation by well–known local designers Camille Wood and Marcus Hanish, and a "Speakeasy Confessional" photo area. Guests enjoyed a mix of multiple big-name DJ beats and models posed in the restaurant’s almost wall–to–wall windows and on the speakeasy dance floor. The event was produced by Delicious Buzz, a local public relations, marketing, and events firm.
Midnight in Paris

City Ballet of San Diego
City Ballet of San Diego held its 21st Annual Gala, Midnight in Paris, at the US Grant on November 7th. The 2015 Gala kicked off the company’s 23rd Anniversary 2015–16 Season. This was the most successful fundraiser to date for the company, bringing in over $100,000 for City Ballet’s Education and Outreach Programs. The evening began with a stunning champagne and hors d’ oeuvres reception and silent auction. The room was turned into a Parisian wonderland with lovely French decorations and dancers in cancan outfits. Guests enjoyed a spectacular performance featuring dancers from City Ballet’s upcoming performances held at the Spreckels Theatre. City Ballet of San Diego was thrilled to unveil The Sally B. Thornton Scholarship during the evening; the scholarship is dedicated to Sally, who was a huge supporter of City Ballet and served as Honorary Chair many times.

Baile de Esperanza
On November 7th, Tri-City Hospital Foundation celebrated its 35th Annual Baile de Esperanza. Held at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, the black-tie gala raised more than $400,000 to benefit the expansion and renovation of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Labor and Delivery Department at Tri-City Medical Center. Albert and Angela Colucci were honored with the Legacy Award, which recognizes extraordinary members of the community committed to improving the lives of others through their actions, accomplishments, and generosity.
