The FORE the Casa Kids Golf Tournament teed off Monday, August 24th at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club in Solana Beach with a shotgun start announced by Keith Miller (aka Madison) of KPRI FM. Leading the group of 86 players were Jim and Kim Grant of Grant General Contractors, Title Partner. Corporate Partners were Corky’s Pest Control, FDR Construction, and Groth Architects. SONY Electronics and J.P. Wieman Construction, Inc. were Eagle Partners. Kolb Constructions & Roofing Services was Beverage Partner.
Casa de Amparo is a major force in the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect in San Diego County. Founded in 1978, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit today has five programs addressing the needs of at-risk children from birth through young adulthood. Proceeds raised at this event will help fund the Child Development Center, Family Visitation Center, Children’s Shelter, Counseling Services and New Directions program.
