Hosted by Sharp HospiceCare, Coronado Yacht Club and Cortez Racing Association; 2018 Annual Sharp HospicesCare Benefit Regatta Sails into San Diego raised $400,000 and took place at Hotel Del Coronado & Coronado Yacht Club on Aug 24th & 25th.
The event supported https://www.sharp.com/services/hospice/hospice-residences/, which offer a unique environment for patients with life-limiting illness, to meet their needs in a comfortable home setting.
The event kicked off Friday Evening Aug 24th, with a pre-race dinner and silent auction, followed by all-day festivities on Sat Aug 25h, the guests boarded yachts and cruised along with racecourse for the breathtaking view of the regatta and San Diego Bay.
All proceeds from the regatta supported Sharp HospiceCare. To date, Sharp HospiceCare’s efforts have led to the completion of 3 hospice residences in the neighborhoods of La Mesa, Del Cerro, and Bonita. https://www.sharp.com/sem/hospice.
