You also know when they are hungry, thirsty or eager for taking a walk and you definitely know how they look when they are healthy and how they look when they are a bit under the weather.

Is that all there is to it, however? Aren’t you at least a little bit curious about all the processes happening in their bodies? Don’t you want to learn a bit more about the systems inside them that are making them happy, healthy and able to react to certain medicines that they might need to take from time to time? If you think that this kind of knowledge isn’t necessary for an average owner, you are very, very wrong.

So, let us not diminish the value of science by calling it magic.

That’s probably not the case, though. The explanation I have given you is so simple and straightforward that I would be surprised if you didn’t understand it or refused to believe in it. I repeat, we’re dealing with science here, so there’s no guesswork, only pure facts.
