Del Mar Plaza's European Market Gets Crafty

Earlier this holiday season, the European Market delighted the Del Mar Plaza as delicious eateries teamed up with local craftsmen to provide a fun and festive holiday celebration. We had vendors from all over San Diego selling everything from jewelry to crotched hats to knives and cookware. There were a ton of diverse vendors within the Del Mar Plaza's European Market! Even better, some of the money made during the event benefited Voices for Children, and organization that aids foster children. Below, we give you the skinny on all of our amazing craft vendors. Seaside Knife Company

The Seaside Knife Company brought some of their inventory to the European Market event and sold some incredibly sharp knives! The Seaside Knife Company is located in Cardiff by the Sea. This company sells a wide array of products—not just knives!—including cutting boards, ceramic lined nonstick pans, and a knife and peeler combination. Go Ask Alex

For all of the crochet-lovers out there, Go Ask Alex was one of the coolest booths at our European Market. Artist Alexandra Davis crochets hats, headbands, and even boot cuffs. Also available on her online Etsy shop is vintage clothing from the 1970’s. Check out her Etsy shop!

Jasmine Ruby Rose

At the European Holiday Market, Jasmine Ruby Rose sold some cute candles, knick-knack decorations and gorgeous handmade jewelry. Jasmine Ruby Rose’s jewelry is a great holiday gift perfect for that special someone! You can find out more about her company via her Facebook page.

Laura Bashar and Mary Platis

These two wonderful women sold copies of their original cookbook, Cooking Techniques with Olive Oil. This cookbook contains amazing recipes, delicious-looking photographs, and tips and tricks about cooking with olive oil. Both Laura Bashar and Mary Platis are award-winning food bloggers. For quirky, unique jewelry, look no further than La Isla Jewelry in Del Mar. The company is run by a husband and wife team, and it makes exotic and elegant pieces of jewelry out of silver, gold, bronze, pearls, and shells. La Isla Jewelry is located in Del Mar.

Made in Earth

Made in Earth is a jewelry brand that originated in Australia and recently opened a new gallery in the Del Mar Plaza. Made in Earth sells dazzling gemstones, jewels, crystals, and fossils. San Diego Bath & Body Company

San Diego Bath & Body Company offers a wide range of products, such as natural soaps and organic lotions, bath salts, body scrubs, and aluminum-free deodorants. At our European Market, MaraDawn Studios sold gorgeous hand-painted ornaments, vases, and menorahs. Owned and founded by Dawn Sebaugh, MaraDawn Studios produces unique designs, including but not limited to abstract paintings, hand-painted vases, and various other artistic projects. Voices for Children

Voices for Children was the incredible non-profit charity that the European Market supported. This organization works to improve and transform the lives of abused and fostered children in San Diego by providing them with Court-Appointed Advocates.
