The most exclusive sports tickets money can buy - sports betting

There's nothing quite like the excitement of attending a live sport event. However, the best seats in the house don't come cheap. Let’s take a look at some of sport’s most coveted tickets, where you can enjoy an incredible experience and rub shoulders with the great and the good if you’re prepared to pay top dollar.

Wimbledon – Centre Court

The biggest tennis tournament of the season has a unique take on egalitarianism. Wimbledon itself is accessible to all budgets, and thousands congregate on Henman Hill each year to see the action from a distance on the big screen. However, the TV cameras covering Centre Court tend to spend as much time celebrity spotting in the stands as they do following the action.

This year's finals are going to be more exciting than ever, and with the likes of Federer and Williams absent, the sports betting sites are struggling to narrow down a favorite. Wimbledon sells Debenture tickets for Centre Court - they start at around £100,000 ($125,000) for what is effectively a three-year pass. Alternatively, tickets for the gentlemen's final start at about £6,000 ($7,500).

The Super Bowl

The biggest sporting event on the planet? We can argue that question between this and our next entrant, but one thing is for sure, Super Bowl tickets are like gold dust. Exact prices vary depending on the match up, but as a guide, tickets for last year’s game sold for an average price of around $7,000.

Of course, that’s just for a standard ticket. The most expensive tickets last year were a little over $50,000 – that would have got you a seat right behind the Bengals bench.

The World Cup Final

Soccer is the most popular sport on the planet, and the whole world grinds to a halt when the World Cup comes around every four years. Tickets are already on sale for this year’s final in Qatar, and prices are almost 50 percent higher than they were at Russia 2018.

The cheapest seats will cost around $600, with those in Category One costing more than $1,600. That’s still cheaper than the Super Bowl, but bear in mind you’ll need to cover the cost of getting to Qatar, too!

The Monaco Grand Prix

Formula 1 is a sport that costs millions to stage, so it’s no surprise that tickets for any race weekend will not come cheap. While a grandstand seat at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix costs about £300 ($400), you can expect to pay almost twice that for a grandstand view at Monaco.

But in a country with more millionaires per capita than any other, that’s nothing. The full Monaco experience demands a Paddock Club pass. As well as incredible views of the start/finish straight, it gets you access to the pit lane, where you can meet the drivers and the hospitality suites with free-flowing champagne and all the caviar you can eat. That’s surely worth €9,000 ($9,500) of anyone’s money!
